October 11: The second semi final match of the Druk Wangyel archery tournament had to be discontinued after a disagreement between the teams. Chukha Hydropower Corporation was playing against Tshoey-say-throm.

The disagreement arose after the Tshoey-say-throm team members started a small fire to burn incense.

Burning of incense is seen as an offering to the deities and an invocation of their support.

The CHPC team members complained to the tournament judge who in turn approached the captain of the Tshoey-say-throm team.

Tshoey-say-throm team members however said they were treated in an offhand manner by the tournament judge and refused to continue the match.

After consultations, the Bhutan Archery Federation disqualified the Tshoey-say-throm team.
