April 11: An 18-year-old man was caught at the Tanalum check post on Thursday, April 9 with an assortment of drugs. He was carrying 68 relepin tablets, 46 diazepam tablets, two tubes of dendrite and 34 packets of marijuana.

Also on April 9, a 34-year-old man has been caught with a consignment of drugs at the Phuentsholing bus terminal. He was reportedly carrying 325 files of relepin tablets, 25 nitrosun tablets, eight packets of marijuana.

Police in Phuentsholing have apprehended a 28-year-old man for smuggling drugs on 2nd April. He was caught at the Phuentsholing gate with six boxes of relepin tablets.

All three said they brought the drugs from the Indian border town of Jaigoan for self consumption.
