October 23: The registration for the civil service common examination began yesterday. With more than 1,000 graduates this year alone, most said they are worried and at the same time excited to sit for the examination.
Graduates who are planning to sit for the civil service common examination have started registering with the Royal Civil Service Commission from yesterday.
Almost all the graduates who gathered for the registration said they are hopeful and at the same time anxious.
With several government officials having resigned to join politics, many graduates said they are hopeful that the RCSC will take in more graduates into the civil service.
But with the number of graduates increasing every year, some graduates however feel, the situation will remain same.
The RCSC has so far announced only 199 slots in six different fields. 145 are in teaching profession.
The last date for registration is on November 2 and the written examination will be held from November 14 till November 16. The results will be declared on 12th December.
