September 4: (Accident update) The office of the Gyalpoi Zimpon granted Semsos for the victims of the accident that took place at Namling yesterday.

A sum of Nu. 10,000 each was given to the victim’s family and Nu. 3,000 each for the injured passengers.

Five people were killed on the spot and three seriously injured when a DCM truck they were travelling went off the road. The truck was carrying eight passengers including the driver.

According to the assessment of the police, the truck went-off about 50 metres from the road. The police in Monggar said the cause of accident was not known and they were still investigating the case.
