December 14: Team Rigzoey is the winner of the Centenary Grand Quiz Challenge. Rigzoey defeated team Tashi Delek in a tie breaker after locking even at the score of 110.

Team Kuensel at third position had 75 points, with Team Happy at 60. At the bottom, Team Sparks stood at 40.

The grand finale of the Centenary Grand Quiz Challenge last evening was another event that left the crowd at the CICCC ground enthralled.

Spectators at the CICCC ground were treated to a rare and different talent as they watched the renowned Indian Quiz Master Siddhartha Basu host the grand finale of the Centenary Grand Quiz Challenge.

Despite the cold, the contest drew a huge crowd. With Quiz Master Siddhartha Basu injecting gusto and energy in the final battle, the stage at the CICCC ground was awash with tension as the five teams faced a varied range of questions.

Siddhartha Basu also had the audience roped in as he descended the stage and mixed with the audience asking questions and giving away prizes, making the final contest a lively and an interactive one.

The winners received attractive prizes.

While the winner took away prizes worth Nu. 500,000, the runners up received prizes worth Nu. 300,000. The team in the position third received a cash prize of Nu. 40,000.

The prizes were awarded by the Economic Affairs Minister Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk.
