February 1: Police in Gelephu along with the Royal Bhutan Army have defused a grenade in Gelephu today. A student informed the police that he had seen a bomb under a culvert bridge about 4 kilometres from Gelephu towards Lodrai highway.

When the investigating team visited the site, they found a High Explosive 36 Grenade.

The bomb disposal team removed and defused the grenade. Police are currently investigating the case.
