March 29: The two National Assembly members elect of the People’s Democratic Party, Tshering Tobgay and Damcho Dorji said they are withdrawing from the National Assembly.

Speaking at a news conference yesterday afternoon, they said they have submitted a notice to the Election Commission to this effect.

Tshering Tobgay is the National Assembly member elect from Sombaykha constituency under Haa Dzongkhag and Damcho Dorji is from Goenkhatoe-Laya constituency under Gasa Dzongkhag.
