PDP appeals to ECB to launch an investigation into National Assembly elections
March 29: The President of People’s Democratic Party Sangay Ngedup said the result of the National Assembly elections on Monday was shocking. He said up until March 21 all candidates received reports that the party was doing well. Sangay Ngedup said the situation changed after truck loads and bus loads of people from the capital arrived in their constituencies to vote. He said the PDP would like to appeal to the Election Commission to launch an investigation. He said his party will accept defeat with dignity if it was the genuine will of the people and no unfair means was employed.
