PDP President says public service delivery needs improvement

November 11: The PDP President, Sangay Nidup, met with the people of Mewang gewog yseterday. More than 1,000 people attended the meeting, the largest so far from south Thimphu constituency.

Talking to the people the PDP President, Sangay Nidup, said the party is overwhelmed by the huge turnover and support from the people.
He said the party’s plans and policies are in line with the visions of our kings. 

Talking about the party’s policy, he said the PDP will enhance public service delivery. He said at the moment public service delivery is time consuming.

If PDP comes to power, he assured the people that the party will ensure efficient public service delivery. He said the party will establish gewog centers where various facilities and services will be made available. The party will also establish a rural bank to make rural loans available easily and at lower interest rates.


To fulfill the party’s plans and polices, he said it is important to have capable candidates. He said the party was very careful in choosing their candidates.


He introduced the south Thimphu candidate, Sonam Tobgay Dorji to the people. Speaking to people, the south Thimphu candidate said if he gets elected he will discuss the problems with the people themselves to find solutions.
