March 4: An Organizational Development Exercise (ODE) will be conducted in five companies under the Druk Holding and Investments (DHI).

The five companies are Druk Air Corporation, Bhutan Telecom Limited, State Trading Corporation of Bhutan Limited, Bhutan Board Products Limited, and Bank of Bhutan. The ODE will be conducted by Tata Consultancy Services in India.

A DHI spokesperson said the exercise will be followed by an environmental analysis. He said the exercise will help set the direction for the companies in terms of their vision and mission, identify their human resource requirement, and develop an IT network audit system.

The exercise will start on March 5 and will take five to six months to complete. DHI will give the findings to the companies and ask them to make necessary changes based on the exercise.
