October 12: The Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs has announced the placement of three newly appointed Dzongdas and transfer of the existing Dzongdas.

Karma Weezir, previously the Chief Planning Officer of the Planning Commission, is the Dzongda of Gasa dzongkhag.

Tshering Kezang, the former Chief Auditor of the Royal Audit Authority has been posted as Lhuentse Dzongda.

Dr. Ugyen Tsewang, a former specialist at the National Bio-diversity Center, has been placed as Dzongda of Tashiyangtse.

The Royal Civil Service Commission announced their appointments last month.

Meanwhile the Gasa Dzongda, Kinzang Wangdi, has been transferred to Wangdiphodrang.

Wangdi Dzongda, Phub Tshering is now the Samdrupjongkhar Dzongda.

Samdrupjongkhar Dzongda, Sangay Dorji, has been transferred to Samtse and the Samtse Dzongda, Tashi Gyaltshen to Dagana.

Dagana Dzongda Goling Tshering has been transfered as Pema gatshel Dzongda, Lhuentse Dzongda, Tshewang Norbu as Chukkha Dzongda and Tashiyangtse Dzongda, Dorji Norbu as Tashigang Dzongda.
