December 26: Police in Dagana have arrested a 25-year-old man for killing a co-worker, a 35-year-old man. The murder took place last Sunday.

On that day, they were sent by their work supervisor to clean the water tank located some ten minutes walk above the labour camp.

The man told the investigation team that after reaching the spot he had consumed some marijuana. He said he committed the murder under the influence of drugs.

The two men were working as labourers for the Roads Department in Dagapela.
