February 7: The Prime Minister Lyonchhen Jigmi Y. Thinley and the Chairman of Indian ICT giant- the National Institute for Information Technology (NIIT), Mr. Rajendra S. Pawar, met in the Indian capital this morning to take the Total Solutions Project forward.

February 6: A 26-year-old woman was killed in an accident on the Bumthang-Monggar highway. The taxi she was traveling in went about 400 metres below the road at Latongla. Latongla is located between Sengor and Namling.

Thinley delivered a rousing keynote address yesterday at the 10th Delhi Summit for Sustainable Development drawing a sustained applause from a gathering of political leaders, environmentalists and sustainable development experts from around the world.

February 4: The Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs and the Royal Bhutan Police will soon put in place a system where people can process security clearance online. This will not only help save time but also avoid duplication of paperwork.
