October 12: His Majesty the King granted an audience to a delegation of senior government officials from India yesterday. The delegation is in the kingdom to participate in the high level workshop on Democratic Constitutional Monarchy, which began yesterday.

The delegation is led by the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs of India Mr. Vivek Katju.

Also present during the audience was the Indian ambassador to Bhutan Mr. Sudhir Vyas.

The seven member delegation is here in the kingdom to attend the two day workshop on Democratic Constitutional Monarchy which is being held at the Royal Banquet hall in Thimphu.

The delegation will call on the Prime Minister Lyonpo Kinzang Dorji on today.
