September 28: His Majesty the King granted audience to a delegation from the Indian Council for International Co-operation yesterday.
His Majesty the King granted an audience to a delegation from the Indian Council for International Cooperation at the Tashichodzong yesterday.
The six member delegation arrived in the kingdom on a five day visit on Tuesday.
Enroute to Thimphu, the delegation visited the Tala Hydropower Project and the Chukha hydroelectricity power house on Wednesday.
The delegation also called on the Prime Minister Lyonpo Kinzang Dorji.
While in the kingdom, the delegation will also visit the Institute of Zorig Chusum, the textile museum, and the handicrafts emporium.
