November 3: His Majesty the King granted an audience to the Director General of the Military Operations of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General Mohan Pande at the Tashichodzong yesterday.
Lieutenant General Mohan Pande arrived in the Kingdom on a three day visit on November 1.
An Alumni of National Defence Academy, Lieutenant General Mohan Pande was commissioned into the Indian army in 1968.
He has held varied command, staff and instructional assignments including the post of Brigade Major, Colonel General Staff of Mountain Division, and Brigadier General Staff.
Lieutenant General Mohan Pande is a recipient of the Param Vishisht Seva Medal and the Vishisht Seva medal.
Lieutenant General Mohan Pande also met with the Chief Operations Officer of the Royal Bhutan Army Major General Batoo Tshering.
