October 21: His Majesty the King addressed the graduates of 2007 at the closing ceremony of the National Graduates Orientation Programme yesterday. This year more than one thousand graduates attended the orientation.

Their Royal Highnesses the Princesses Ashi Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck and Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck also attended the closing ceremony.

This year more than one thousand graduates including His Royal Highness Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck attended the orientation.

During the 12 days programme, graduates were briefed on plans and policies of various government ministries.

The program also included cultural orientation.

For the first time symposium on various issues including the 2008 elections, HIV/Aids and Drugs were also held.
