His Majesty graces Haa tshechu |
September 23: His Majesty the King visited Haa over the past two days. His Majesty graced the final day of the Haa Tshechu yesterday.
The tshechu began on Thursday.
A Saturday morning with a bright and luminous sunshine, a clear blue sky and the people of Haa from all walks of life, thronged the courtyard of the Wangchuk Lo Dzong.
It was a sacred occasion made even more special by the presence of His Majesty who visited the Wangchuk Lo Dzong to receive blessings from the Guru Tshengye Thongdroel.
Speaking to BBS, the people of Haa said they had come to the Tshechu with the hope of meeting His Majesty.
After the royal visit to the Wangchuk Lo Dzong, His Majesty then visited the Lhakhang Karp where mask dances were performed.
The courtyard of the Lhangang Karp was also filled with devotees who were honored by the royal audience.
His Majesty visited the stands and interacted with the people, granting them a rare and a privileged opportunity |
