July 13: His Majesty the King arrived in the capital today after a six day special tour to meet the security personnel in Southern Bhutan. Yesterday His Majesty visited Phuentsholing town.

In Phuentsholing, His Majesty the King inspected different parts of Phuentsholing town. His Majesty walked from shop to shop interacting with hundreds of shopkeepers.

Hundreds of people including those from the neighbouring Jaigaon gathered along the streets to welcome His Majesty the King. 

His Majesty the King, who is the supreme commander of the Bhutanese armed forces, is on a special tour to meet the security personnel in Southern Bhutan.

Over the last few days, His Majesty met with the soldiers and their families at RBA wing V in Sibsu, RBA wing 1 in Tendu, RBA wing VIII in Samtse and RBA wing XI in Wangdi Gatshel.
