July 20: His Majesty the King has appointed Karma Penjor as the Secretary of the Dratsang Lhentshog.

Prior to his new appointment Secretary Karma Penjor was serving as the Director of the Dratshang Lhentshog.

Also today His Majesty the King appointed Sangay Duba as the Dzongda of Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag as per Article 2 section 16 (a) of the Constitution of Bhutan.

Prior to his new appointment, Dzongda Sangay Duba was serving as the Programme Director, Research and Development Centre at Bajo in Wangduephodrang.
