March 27: His Holiness the Je Khenpo Truelku Jigme Choeda consecrated a Jangchub Chorten at Thimyul in Lhuentse yesterday.

The new Jangchub Chorten at Thimyul in Lhuentse is located about 30 minutes walk from the road point at the village of Gangzur.

Our reporter Pem Tshering says the chorten was built for the well being of the sentient beings.

Following the consecration the chorten was handed over to the central monastic body. The three day consecration ceremony will end with a Tshewang on Friday.

Meanwhile on the way to Thimyul, His Holiness also conferred wang to the public and students of Phuyum Higher Secondary School at Phuyum. His Holiness will visit Dungkhar on March 28 and consecrate the Dungkhar Nagtshang.
