November 1: His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands have left the kingdom yesterday. Their Royal Highnesses were in the kingdom on a four day royal visit.

Their Royal Highnesses left the kingdom yesterday after a four day royal visit. They were seen off at the Paro International Airport by Her Royal Highness Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, the foreign secretary Yeshi Dorji and the honorary consul of the Netherlands in Bhutan Ms. Anne Marie Schreven.

During the four day Royal visit Their Royal Highnesses were granted an audience by His Majesty the King.

The Royal couple also witnessed an archery match at the changlimithang.

They also participated in a seminar on Bhutan’s developmental philosophy Gross National Happiness.
