October 29: His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands have arrived in the kingdom on a four day royal visit yesterday.

Upon arrival at the Paro International Airport, His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima were received by Her Royal Highness Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, the Foreign Secretary Yeshi Dorji and the honorary consul of the Netherlands in Bhutan Ms. Anne Marie Schreven.

Their Royal Highnesses are scheduled to receive an audience with His Majesty the King today.

Their Royal Highnesses arrived in the capital yesterday afternoon. At the Kuengachholing state guest house, Their Royal Highnesses were received by Her Royal Highness Ashi Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck.

While in the kingdom, Their Royal Highnesses will visit places of historical ad cultural importance and also witness the autumn archery tournament at the Changlimithang.

Their Royal Highnesses will be leaving the kingdom on Wednesday.
