October 29: Her Royal Highness Ashi Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck was married to Dasho Tandin Namgyel at the Dechencholing palace today.

The tendrey ceremony of the royal wedding was presided over by His Holiness the Je Thrizur Tenzin Dhendup.

The Royal wedding was graced by His Majesty the King, His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo, Her Majesty the Royal Grand mother, Their Majesties the Queen Mothers and members of the Royal Family.

Dasho Tandin Namgyel is the son of Dasho Kipchu Dorji and Aum Chimi Wangmo.
