September 16: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative for Bhutan presented credentials to the Foreign Minister yesterday morning.

Mr. Gavin Lindsay arrived in the kingdom on a weeklong visit on Sunday, September 14.

Mr. Gavin Lindsay will be meeting senior officials and discuss areas of cooperation.

Yesterday, he met the Agriculture Minister Lyonpo Dr. Pema Gyamtsho.

The FAO supports Bhutan in the areas of agriculture, forestry, livestock, fishery and rural development.
