October 18: The Centennial graduates who are attending the National Graduates Orientation Progamme (NGOP) paid tribute to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck yesterday.

The graduates expressed their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo for his selfless service and dedication for the peace and prosperity of the people and the country.

The tribute session was part of NGOP to celebrate the centenary celebrations in the country.

The graduates stood up one after another to express and praise the dynamic leadership of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. The graduates also rededicated their service to the King, Country and the people.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, Dasho Dr. Sonam Tenzin described the session of the graduates as emotional. He said the tribute session of the graduates has fulfilled the objectives of the NGOP.

Short video clips dedicated to His Majesty the Fourth King were also screened by the graduates.

The video clips were produced by some of the graduates to pay homage to the leadership of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.
