June 28: The Centre for Bhutan Studies (CBS) donated over 2000 research publications to the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) yesterday.

The publications and journals cover subjects ranging from Gross National Happiness to Bhutan’s relations with neighbouring countries and media.

The Director of Centre for Bhutan Studies Dasho Karma Ura, said the books are donated to promote research publications among those students who are enrolled in colleges under the Royal University of Bhutan.

The vice Chancellor of the Royal University of Bhutan, Dasho Pema Thinley said these publications will be a source of information for research purposes in future. The books worth Nu. 1 million were published in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
