March 16: An explosion has been reported in Tshochungkha village under Sampheling gewog in Phuentsholing dungkhag yesterday. The explosion occurred at around 4:45 am.

A transmission tower has been damaged by the explosion. Apart from that there were no reports of damages to property. There were also no reports of casualties or injuries.

Police found two letters, one written in English and the other written in Lhotshamkha at the explosion site.

A militant group, calling themselves the United Revolutionary Front of Bhutan (URFB), claimed responsibility for the blast. The group also claimed responsibility for the four bomb blasts on January 20.
