November 26: A 21-year-old Bhutanese student who was studying in Kolkatta, India has died under mysterious circumstances. The boy, a 2nd year college student had gone missing since November 18.
His body was discovered three days later from a river by police on November 21.
The police then took the corpse to a local hospital for postmortem and had kept the corpse in the morgue of the hospital.
His parents brought the body home on November 24.
According to the investigation team in Kolkatta, the cause of the death is unknown. The investigation team was told by his roommate that the deceased did not suffer from any illnesses.
They said the body was already decomposed. The results of the postmortem will be out in a week’s time which will justify the cause of the death.
The deceased was studying at the Nightingale Institute of Management Studies. There are more than 200 Bhutanese students studying in Kolkatta.
