March 27: Eight Bhutanese films are being screened at the Honolulu Academy of Performing Arts as part of the exhibition on Bhutan entitled –The Dragon's Gift: The Sacred Arts of Bhutan.

Movies being screened at the exhibition include Druk Gi Goem, Kishu Thara, Dhangphu, the Golden Cup, the 49th Day, Chorten Kora, Euchung Lhamo, Norbu: My Beloved Yak and Jigthar: the Escape.

Of the eight, only one has ever been shown outside the country. The film festival will conclude on the 30th of this month.

The exhibition in Hawaii is considered one of the most highly anticipated exhibitions on Buddhist Art. It opened last month.
