February 2: The national football squad faced their second consecutive loss in the South Asain Games in Dhaka, Bangladesh. They lost to the host team by 4-0. The national team is out of the tournament, although they have a game in hand.

Bangladesh is now through to the semi finals along with Maldives from the group A.

In the first match, Bhutan lost to Maldives by a goal.

Bhutan lies at the end of the group’s table without a point. Tomorrow, Bhutan will take on Nepal in her last match of the league round.

Bhutan is also participating in other sports like boxing, archery, taekwondo and golf. The competition in these fields will begin from tomorrow with golf.

The South Asian Games will end on February 9.
