January 11: A group of seven armed men entered Dolungang village under Dekiling geog in Sarpang at around 7 pm yesterday.

According to Police, the group forcibly entered a house, held the owner, Wangda at gun point and looted the house.

The men claimed to have come from the camps in eastern Nepal. Claiming that the land on which Wangda was living belonged to the father of one of the man in the group, they threatened Wangda to vacate the place by next day or face the consequences.

Before leaving, they also threatened to kill him if he reported the matter to authorities. They also asked if there were village volunteers deployed in the village.
