Sponsorship of special music shows/Programme.

Sponsorship of music shows on occasions such as New Year (Losar, Day of traditional offering Nyilo and other such occasions will be on contractual agreement between BBS and the party concerned.

Terms and conditions:

1. BBS Corporation reserves the right to change the slots/spots within the relevant time period for which the charge is made, unless they are fixed spots or special position of broadcast as pre-arranged.

2. All materials and scripts for commercial broadcast must conform to the requirements of the censor/BBS code of conduct for commercial broadcasting. The decision of BBS Corporation will be final and will not be contested by agency/advertiser.

3. BBS shall not be held responsible for any legal claims or actions brought or made against it by way of slander, libel or defamation by reason of transmission of advertisement, announcements and sponsored programmes. The advertisers, advertising agencies and sponsors shall be solely responsible and liable to indemnify the aggrieved party.

4. BBS Corporation reserves the right to refuse to transmit any advertisement materials without assigning any reasons.

5. BBS Corporation reserves the right to discontinue, postpone or cancel any programme, without prior notice to agency/advertiser. In such cases, BBS Corporation will allow agency/advertiser to either cancel the contract or accept other alternatives.

6. Commercials tending to run down the products of other competitor or commercials with such an intention will not be accepted.

7. Advertisements/commercials tending to have an adverse impact on the society or those that contain obscene words will not be broadcast.

8. Advertisements of commercials produced/recorded outside BBS studio will be subject to quality test before broadcasting.

9. Announcements regarding loss of important documents and missing persons should be forwarded through the Royal Bhutan Police.

10. Advertisements, announcements and commercials, which need to be broadcast on a priority basis, will be charged 50% higher than the normal rates.

11. Advertisements, announcements, and commercials over BBS TV should reach the station three days before the broadcast.

12. BBS Corporation reserves the right to broadcast any advertisement, announcements and commercials without prior notice.

13. BBS TV will accept advertisements in Dzongkha and English language only.

14. Agency commission will be as per agreement between the agencies concerned and BBS Corporation.

15. BBS Corporation reserves that right to change the rates without prior notice.
