December 29: A 45-year-old woman has died in an accident at Long-dru about two kilometers from Khasadrapchu towards Chuzom. Her husband said she may have been hit by falling boulders.

The accident took place at around 5:00pm on Wednesday. She had gone to look for a missing cow when the accident occurred. She was found lying unconscious by her husband. He rushed her to the Gidagom hospital.

Doctors said she was already dead when she was brought to the hospital.

A team of investigators who had been at the accident site said they found bloodstains on a stone and a pine tree.

Dantak labourers however said they have not worked in the area two days before the incident. The case is being investigated.
