October 30: A pictorial book entitled “A King of Destiny”, a tribute to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo was formally launched by Her Majesty the Queen Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck in the capital yesterday.

The book is a tribute to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. The book covers the life and the glorious reign of His Majesty through pictorial depiction.

The book contains unseen and private moments of His Majesty and the Royal Family. The book shows glimpses of His Majesty with eminent political figures around the world. It also contains His Majesty words, hopes and aspirations for the people of Bhutan. The book has 13 chapters and 200 pages.

In the foreword of the book, Her Majesty the Queen Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck has described His Majesty as the ultimate patriot that the Drukyul has been blessed with.

Her Majesty praised His Majesty’s vision and execution of his vision with utmost commitment and sacrifice.

The General Manager of the Rabsell Media Services Tshering Wangchuck said the launch of the book is very timely.

The book shares sentiments and thoughts of people from all walks of life. The pictures of His Majesty and the royal family were contributed by His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the queen mother Ashi Kesang Choden, the prime minister and international dignitaries.

The book costs Nu. 2500 and was published by Rabsell Media services.
